Goodness, time is flying! Does it feel the same to you? Have you listed your goals? How often do your assess your achievement status? How many contracts have you been awarded? What did you do that works? What did not work?
We have 6 months left before the end of 2017 to reach our goals. Do you feel daunted by this realization? Is your brain feeling muddled with information overload? Don’t let FEAR creep in and stagnate your progress.
Here’s a Tip: I am consciously re-instituting Time Blocking to help me stay focused on the main things. Are you time-blocking? I used to have an assistant that would set an alarm on her computer as a reminder. She even set an alarm to remind herself to drink water. What is it you need to be reminded to do daily? Time-blocking is an effective way to achieve goals. It increases focus, the sense of responsibility and induces action which aids you in being intentional and productive.
Even though I calendar main events, appointments, meetings, etc. on the calendar, I have to time-block (schedule) activities on specific days and times. Some of you may use a task feature for this – use what you look at the most. For me it’s the calendar – I check it throughout the day (and night). Choose what works best for you.
